Summary

RNDC is looking for an outgoing and self-motivated Division Manager, Inside Sales to join our growing Inside Sales team. The Division Manager, Inside Sales will be responsible for the direction, training, coaching and development of Inside Sales state leaders that include Managers, Specialists and Inside Sales Representatives.

In this role, you will

  • Manages Inside Sales leaders and representatives to achieve revenue, sales volume and effective relationship building with customers. Trains and coaches effective prospecting, cross-selling, pipeline development, and all sales related activities in 1:1 coaching with leaders and team members by coaching managers to ensure the structure of all sales territories provide the account coverage and service frequency levels consistent with sales volume and reasonable customer requirements.
  • Establishes, recommends and implements strategies, objectives, policies and plans for sales and profit objectives of the division. Identifies priorities and maintains market strategies unique to each state.
  • Ensures consistency across multiple states on outbound calling programs and promotional activity in order to drive revenue growth and sales goals.
  • Leads business development activities focusing on creating new accounts and new revenue streams.
  • Collaborates with other departments to develop sales strategies that enhance the company’s revenue growth.
  • Maintains up-to-date and accurate records for all new assigned accounts.
  • Engages in the more difficult negotiations (as support to inside sales representatives) to develop new business and resolve the more critical problem situations affecting the sales program.
  • Ensures Inside Sales adheres to federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the sales of alcoholic beverage products.

What you bring to RNDC

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred. Six or more years related experience, of which five years in sales management with an alcoholic beverage wholesaler or supplier and/or training is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Knowledge of Internet, Microsoft Office Suite software (such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and etc.), and order processing systems (such as Logility, Microstrategy, and etc.) or the aptitude to learn. Occasional travel may be required. Operational understanding of restaurant, bar, and liquor stores. Strong product knowledge of Wine & Spirits.

Compensation

This compensation information is a good faith estimate and provided in accordance with California state law. Similar positions located outside of this jurisdiction may not necessarily receive the same compensation. The salary generally starts at $120,500.00 annually, and is a combination of base salary plus bonus if applicable. The salary is an estimate based on an applicant’s skills and experience.
