Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Sales Manager to lead our catering sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the catering industry, a passion for exceptional customer service, and a strong ability to drive revenue growth. This role involves developing and maintaining client relationships, generating new business, and managing the overall catering sales process.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive catering sales strategy to achieve revenue goals.
- Focus on generating catering sales within the city of Chicago, with a specific emphasis on the River North neighborhood. Prior connections within these areas is required
- Responsible for the complete lifecycle of new order inquiries, including processing, event details, and execution in conjunction with store leaders on a company-wide basis.
- Generate new corporate catering leads through proactive sales efforts, networking, and marketing initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct site visits and sales presentations to potential clients.
- Create and deliver customized catering proposals and contracts.
- Oversee third-party EZCater requests and communicate with locations on event details
- Collaborate with the menu team to develop menus and pricing for catering events.
- Manage the catering sales process from initial inquiry to event execution serving as a liaison between external contact and internal store managers.
- Oversee the coordination of all aspects of catering business and logistics.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
- At least 5-10 years of experience in catering sales.
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
- Strong understanding of the catering industry and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in sales and CRM software.
This position will provide a base salary and a commission based on catering sales generated.
