Job Description
United Solar, a leading solar energy company, is seeking a driven and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Outside Sales Representatives, canvassing neighborhoods, approaching residential / commercial property owners, conveying utility overpayment reduction, driving sales growth, and expanding our market presence in the region.
Responsibilities
- Run sales appointments with residential home-owner customers while also leading a team of appointment closers and appointment setters
- Lead and train new appointment setters to get their first deals and experience the lucrative industry of solar sales.
- Manage and monitor sales performance, providing guidance and support to the team as needed.
- Identify and pursue new territories, expanding our customer base.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape, making recommendations for improvements and growth.
Requirements
- 2+ years sales manager or similar role in the solar sales industry.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a track record of building and managing successful sales teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel within the region as needed.
