Junior Sales Associate

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Post competitively priced trailers on Facebook Marketplace (Minimum of 10 per week). Consult the Sales Manager or Lead Sales Representative with any questions regarding “competitive pricing.”
• Assist with trailer inventory organization on the property.
• Assist with the trailer delivery intake and unloading process.
• Once sales training is complete, you will be asked to move to a 5-day work week that includes Saturdays.
• Operate the location when the lead sales representative cannot work (Vacation, Sick Leave).
• Greet and qualify customers, understanding their needs and trailer requirements when the lead sales representative needs assistance.
• Showcase our inventory of trailers, highlighting features and benefits when the lead sales representative needs assistance.
• Assist customers in selecting the right trailer for their needs when the lead sales representative needs assistance.
• Assist customers with hooking up their new trailers and inspect each trailer before the customer leaves (lights, brakes, keys/locks, chains…etc.).
• Prepare quotes and proposals when the lead sales representative needs assistance.
• Negotiate pricing and terms when the lead sales representative needs assistance.
• Process paperwork and secure financing (if applicable) when the lead sales representative needs assistance. This includes exhausting all finance options for customers who have trouble getting financed.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales area.
• Perform errands when necessary/needed (bank runs, supply runs…etc.).
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous sales experience (a plus, but not required).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and retain information.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• A valid driver's license.

Pay: $35,000/year plus Facebook Marketplace Sales Commission. Sales Commission will also be paid for Saturdays and workdays covering the lot (excludes scheduled pickups).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
