Here is what you will be doing each day:
As a Sales Manager, you will:
· Conduct site inspections for guestroom and catering sales. Maximize revenue selling in all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form, to previous, current and potential clients.
· Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. Coordinate various departments' participation in servicing accounts.
· Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.
· Travel locally and regionally to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel, develop new business and attend industry conferences, shows and events.
· Prepare information for, meet with and entertain clients as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account.
· Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction and cooperative focus with hotel operations team.
· Perform other sales and catering job related duties as assigned.
· Other duties as assigned.

· Previous groups, meeting and events experience in a hotel or sales role
· Passion for providing excellent client experiences and client engagement
· Confidence in proactively preventing problems and ability to handle service recovery following any complaints
· Working in a fast-paced environment and with a motivated team
· Exceptional administrative and time-management skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Organized and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
