Job Overview

Grovestone Countertops, LLC provides high-quality management for full-service countertop installations, specifically but not limited to multi-family housing residential renovations. All countertop projects include template, material, fabrication and installation. Surfaces may include natural stone such as granite or quartzite, as well as man-made product, quartz, sourced primarily from US Manufactures, Daltile and MSI. Grovestone Countertops has been built to service General Contractors and/or Ownerships groups directly.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance and execution of active countertop projects. This specific position is earmarked for but not limited to projects within the Greater Denver area, Greater Dallas - Fort Worth area, Phoenix, AZ, and Portland, OR market expansions. This specific position will service multiple GC’s and Ownership Groups. By performing assigned data entry within GS Internal Project Trackers, this position assists in the overall maintenance and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual project schedules, slab usage review, and project profitability.

The daily operations of the Project Coordinator may include: internal and external weekly conference calls, coordination with customer and fabrication partner across multiple projects and multiple regions, Internal Project Tracker submission, Material Cycle Count Review, Schedule Forecasting and Client Outreach.

This position assists in Grovestone Organizational Development Strategy. This position works in conjunction with the Director of Sales on a daily basis.

The Project Coordinator may be considered successful when all Internal Project Trackers are updated in a timely manner (performed daily as each project requires) and all related management responsibilities are created and submitted within the timeframe assigned. The Project Coordinator is considered a valuable, contributing member of the Grovestone Countertops team, and as such, may negatively impact Grovestone operations if roles and responsibilities are not fulfilled.

This position is designated: Remote- Hybrid. Such that the position assigns all recipients to “work-from-home” for appx 90% of the annual work period. This position does require occasional onsite commitments which shall not extend 10% of the annual work period. Grovestone does not offer brick-and-mortar office space and/or Grovestone owned/leased meeting facilities.

Salary Range: The Project Coordinator salary range is $75,000 to $90,000 based on experience. As a salaried position, this position qualifies for profit-sharing via SEP contributions at fiscal year-end after a 6 month probationary period. Salaries are distributed monthly, on the third Friday of each month.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Project Management: Confer with DS to review all on-going projects, completion status and pipeline demands. Manage day-to-day operations of all active projects such that schedules are maintained, POs are administered, slab usage is updated weekly, and material needs are submitted weekly.
  • New Project Bidding: Confer with DS to gather all relevant data to include but not limited to: countertop data, project schedule, fabrication partner requirements and rates, material rates. Considered secondary onsite representative if representation is required.
  • Client Relations: Assist in the maintenance and nourishment of new and existing customers, either in person or virtually. Strategically plan for one site visit and/or customer connect per 6 months (average).
  • Fabrication Partner Relations: Assist in the maintenance and nourishment of existing fabrication partners such that all labor rates are monitored and contracted, pipeline visibility is extended, and standard of excellence is maintained.
  • Job Cost Tracking: Review all active projects’ Job Costs such that completion statuses remain current, slab usage is reviewed monthly, and profitability is tracked.
  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable: Update project trackers to show unit completion so corresponding AR may be performed.
  • Organizational Development: Assist in the institutional growth procedure evolution as needed by attending, engaging and providing feedback within Grovestone Leadership discussions.

Education, Experience and Qualifications

Below is a list of the preferred education, experience and qualifications that are necessary for someone to fill this position.

  • Education level: High School Diploma required. BBA Degree or 5+ years of relevant experience, preferred.
  • Relevant Experience: Previous Construction Project Management and/or Countertop Fabrication experience preferred
  • Qualifying Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Proficient in verbal and written communication
  • Cognitive Skills: Developing Standards, Analyzing Information, Dealing with Complexity, Data Entry Skills, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Thoroughness
