Position Summary: The role of a Sales Support and Showroom Coordinator, combines a love for ensuring a high level of customer service and maintaining a sharp attention to detail, all while preparing high quality deliverables for our clients throughout the furniture sales and service lifecycle. This role will be responsible for supporting our account managers by executing a variety of cross functional responsibilities that are essential to the success of AOI's furniture sales team.


Essential Job Functions

  • Greet clients who visit the showroom and determine needs and connect with the appropriate team member to assist.
  • Provide inside sales support, including, but not limited to, assisting walk-in clients with product demonstrations, pricing, quoting and selling.
  • Develop relationships with internal Sales, Design, & Operations teams and/or external clients to best understand unique organizational dynamics and anticipate future needs.
  • Develops deep understanding of the furniture division operating systems as well as various product lines to effectively execute a variety of job functions.
  • Assist with daily meetings, processes, projects, tasks, and client-facing deliverables at the direction of the Account Manager (sales).
  • Assemble and maintain electronic responses and files on the server including client facing documents for RFP’s and completed jobs/projects; in addition, maintaining and keeping internal documents up to date.
  • Manage special projects for the Sales and Design teams including client events, trade shows and A&D promotions.
  • Communicate daily with Account Managers via email, Microsoft Teams, phone and/or in-person communication.
  • Assist Designers with upkeep and organization of material library and binders.
  • Work with manufacturer representatives to coordinate and schedule product updates with Account Managers and Designers.
  • Assist with basic office needs, including but not limited to, ordering office supplies, keeping showroom presentable and other related tasks to provide the best experience for clients and guests.
  • Assist in reviewing manufacturer acknowledgements for accuracy.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Perform duties and tasks independently, with little supervision, once trained.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three or more years related office work experience preferred.
  • Work experience/education with the following software: Word, Excel, Power point. CAP Studio, Core, or other related furniture software experience preferred
  • Ability to travel to and from our Omaha office and/or surrounding client locations will be required from time to time, as directed.
