Job Description
Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Inside Auto Parts Sales Specialist to grow incremental net new sales. Retain and preserve current business and grow open sales opportunities in all market areas of XL Parts.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Manage, develop and grow assigned commercial sales within XL Parts -All markets
- Conduct outbound phone calls within established sales protocol
- Effectively identify sales opportunities
- Cultivate lasting relationships with assigned customer base
- Gather and maintain customer profile information
- Maintain clear records in CRM . Maintain contacts and sales reports
- Effectively promote value-added services (Online ordering, TGTR, Training Clinics, PSC, MyXLP, etc.)
- Qualify leads for online credentials
Requirements:
- Knowledge of auto parts or the automotive industry
- Experience in B2B Outside Sales, Inside Sales, or Account Management
- Must have reliable transportation
- Dress Code, must maintain a professional appearance at all work times.

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements:
A typical day includes making outbound sales calls to the assigned commercial customers as well as cold calls to prospective customers. Using our CRM to document sales calls, analyze customer performance and maintain customer information. The occasional heavy lifting of 30 lbs or more may be required.
