Our client is a leading force in the automotive industry, specializing in the design and production of sensor, connectivity, and electrification solutions, with a focus on innovation and global sustainability.
Join their new and expanding team as Account Manager! This position will be remote/hybrid near either Greenville, SC or Detroit, MI office.
The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience working with technically complex products, along with an automotive background.
Tasks:
- Acquire new customers and secure projects within emerging global markets focused on automotive electrification.
- Manage and maintain customer relationships across the USA, Canada, and Mexico, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and refinement of sales strategies to drive growth and market expansion.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and consistently tracking customer satisfaction to maintain long-term partnerships.
- Coordinate sales projects from initiation to order placement, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tailored proposals by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering and purchasing.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in sales of technically complex products, HV high voltage/low voltage is a plus.
- 3+ years of automotive experience.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, solution-oriented thinking, and excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools, including Siemens, Teamcenter or SAP, preferred.
- Occasional international travel.
- Proficiency in English.
