Our Sugar Land, Texas location has invested in state of the art equipment and training to provide high quality, fast turnaround solutions to our clients in Texas and across the US.
Job Description: The Sign & Lighting Solutions Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth by promoting energy-efficient sign and lighting products and services, along with offerings from our trusted Channel Partners. This role requires a solid understanding of energy efficiency practices, the sign and lighting industry, solution selling, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business by identifying potential accounts, analyzing account potential, and initiating, developing, and closing sales. Recommend new applications and sales strategies to enhance pipeline growth and diversification.
- Identify opportunities within accounts by studying current business, interviewing key customer personnel, evaluating additional needs, and analyzing market opportunities.
- Initiate the sales process by building relationships, qualifying potential clients, and fostering trust in our value proposition.
- Drive sales by making presentations, explaining product and service enhancements, and introducing new sign and lighting products and services from our client and Channel Partners.
- Assist in new application and solution development by collaborating with solutions engineering teams.
- Contribute to sales strategies by evaluating current product performance, identifying market needs, monitoring competitive products, and relaying customer feedback.
- Stay updated on industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and engaging with professional organizations.
- Enhance the organization’s reputation by owning new and unique requests, exploring opportunities for added value, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
Desired Skillset:
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Market and Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in energy-efficient signage and lighting.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of our sign and lighting products and services.
- Educate clients on the benefits and cost savings of energy-efficient solutions.
Account Management Skills:
- Establish partnerships and alliances.
- Excellent prospecting skills and ability to meet sales goals.
- Foster teamwork and effective planning.
- Build strong relationships and demonstrate exceptional people skills.
- Show initiative, customer focus, and a commitment to excellence.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred.
- Experience in the sign and lighting industry is a plus.
- 8+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quotas.
- Stable employment history.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary commensurate with experience and client base.
- Benefits package includes PTO, medical and a competitive sales commission plan.
