At Trust Counsel, PL, We are a small but fast-growing Estate Planning law firm in Coral Gables, FL, looking for a Sales Associate (also called our Client Engagement Specialist) to ensure that the firm is always putting its best foot forward for potential new clients. We specialize in providing our valued clients with comprehensive estate planning, probate, and advanced planning services.
We need a bright, creative, empathetic, and compassionate person who can convey the value of our services to potential clients and enhance our client experience. You will work closely with other team members to develop and maintain relationships with clients and referral sources. You will help us realize our vision of helping more people!
$45,000 - $75,000 yearly
Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:
- Initial Meetings: Conduct in-depth meetings with prospective new clients (PNCs), collecting relevant information, explaining the estate planning process, and demonstrating compassion for their needs under the ethical rules governing lawyers without providing legal advice.
- Client Engagement: Engage with PNCs to explain the firm's services and provide reassurance about the firm's ability to assist them, maintaining a professional and supportive demeanor.
- Onboarding: Oversee the client onboarding process, including preparing engagement agreements, interacting with our Estate Planning Attorney for acceptance of contracts, accepting payments, and ensuring seamless transitions from sales to legal services. Ensure attorneys review and update preconditioning and onboarding materials.
- Client Follow-Up: Follow up with clients after they are hired to ensure a smooth onboarding process and address any concerns.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track key metrics, including the number of PNCs, meetings held, engagements secured, referral sources, and average case value. Provide regular feedback to management on lead quality and volume.
- Post-Initial Meeting Engagement: Maintain strong communication with PNCs who did not engage after their initial meetings or missed them to keep the door open for future engagement.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in consultative selling, preferably with high-end or luxury services.
- Proven track record of client acquisition and relationship building.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
- Experience with CRM systems, reporting, and managing client information.
- Preferred: Background in financial services, estate planning, or related legal fields.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
