Job Description
Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a Field Sales Engineer at our location in Richmond, Virginia.
Key Responsibilities
- Application support and technical assistance
- Identify market opportunities and facilitate the sales transactions
- Track and influence projects from design phase to implementation
- Develop sales strategies to close orders and adapt to market channel dynamics
- Understanding of building electrical distribution systems and components
- Prepare sales call plans and market opportunity objectives
- Perform face to face visits with electrical contractors, engineers, end-user accounts
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams as well as perform electrical formula calculations
- Identify customer’s needs and adapt, empathize with their concerns work with inside advisors/mgmt for quick and best resolution
- Assemble accurate and professional proposals
- Keep up to date salesforce opportunities with proper product, account, costing details
- Exhaust all options for urgent issues with down units, parts replacement, etc.
- Be available for assistance and support as needed, and assist co-workers.
- Prepare sales activity reports to assist in capturing of data analytics and market trends.
- Trade show and professional industry event participation
Requirements
- Proven ability to communicate effectively
- High level of productivity output
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize demands
- Respond effectively to changes in workload, schedules, and environment
- Electrical or mechanical engineering degree preferred
- This position requires occasional driving
