Entry Level Engineer

Job Description

A global chemical film manufacturer from Japan in the Hillsboro, OR is looking for an Entry Level Sales Engineer to join their team.

As an Entry Level Sales Engineer, you will work closely with the engineering team to assist in the R&D process and provide technical consulting for clients and help their business succeed. The Portland office mainly works with clients in the Semiconductor industry. We are looking for someone who is passionate about advanced technology and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities for Entry Level Sales Engineer:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and test product to find solutions
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance process at clients' site
- Manage and develop great relationship with clients
- Understand market trend and create effective sales/marketing strategy and approach to clients
- Work with R&D and Engineer teams to prepare for trade shows
- Assist in project management tasks, including planning, tracking, and reporting progress
- Other tasks assigned by managers

Qualifications for Entry Level Sales Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid work permit in US (US Citizen or Green Card Holders; This position does not sponsor any VISA)
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to do business travel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
