Job Description
The Inside Sales Leader will be responsible for the execution of early career talent sourcing, hiring and development in addition to leadership of the inside sales representatives. The role will own the partnership with college career programs and on-campus affinity groups and execute the Sales Development and Internship Program training initiatives. The Inside Sales Leader also leads Sales Foundations on-boarding program with responsibilities for future sales training initiatives for the Technical Insulation team.
Reports to: Commercial Excellence Director
Span of Control: Direct leadership to Inside Sales Representatives, Sales Development Program Participants and Interns.
Location: World Headquarters located in Toledo, Ohio
Responsibilities:
Early Career/College Recruiting-
Owns and implements the College Recruiting strategy for the Technical Insulation Sales Team.
- Attends University recruiting events, class speaking opportunities and networking events.
- Support and enroll leaders to attend University events to build brand on campus.
- Collaborate with Program Directors and assistants to identify proactive opportunities for student networking and recruitment.
- Assists with development program new hire orientations and special programming as needed. Ensures that all job fair events are well planned and executed.
- Lead Summer Internship Process.
- Lead coordination with partner Universities of event dates and participant engagement.
- Lead interview coordination for Summer Sales Internships.
- Train and oversee Internship Program, utilizing Sales Development Program participants for leadership development.
- Design and organize training events for all Sales Interns
- Work to establish a team atmosphere through engagement, feedback and support.
- Work with intern leaders and development program leads to facilitate after action reviews for summer internships and determine next steps based upon the feedback and evaluation of the data.
- Provide insights and recommendations for creative recruitment strategies to engage and retain early career talent including interns and development program participants.
- Partners with Roofing Sales Development Program to take a one-company view of early career talent.

Owns and implements the College Recruiting strategy for the Technical Insulation Sales Team.
Sales Development Program Lead- Train SDPs on the role of an Inside Sales Rep on the path towards a career in Sales within the TI business.
- Lead Sales Development Program participants in areas of talent acquisition, performance management, training and development and talent assessment.
- Lead the structuring of a training program for all of the Sales Development Program Participants
- Execute the Sales Development Program body of knowledge and training program utilizing internal and external resources.
- Partner with the Commercial Excellence Director on the design and implementation of the program.
- Provides clear insights and perspective to commercial leaders on performance of the participants, and readiness for ASM, pillar ISR, or Technical Sales roles.
- Foundations On-Boarding Program

Lead the planning and coordination of virtual and in-person Foundations on-boarding training.
- Communication and training of leaders and Peer Coaches on the on-boarding process and expectations
- Planning and scheduling of in-person instructor led sessions, incorporating role plays, guest speakers and hands-on training activities.
- Monitor success of program, constantly enhancing and growing the experience
Inside Sales Team Leadership
- Partners with Commercial Leaders to establish territory Sales Plans consisting of Volume, Revenue and/or Gross Margin targets across business segments for respective Inside Sales Representatives.
- Ensures inside sales coverage and support across all Technical Insulation business segments.
- Demonstrates excellence in commercial tool adoption and usage through entire inside sales team.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- 5+ years experience in sales, marketing, or customer service.
- Must be able to travel for recruiting and training events; anticipated up to 25% with advanced notice.
Experience:
- People Leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Previous selling or marketing experience in a B2B environment.
- Knowledge of Building Materials industry
