The Curation Specialist plays a pivotal role in creating proactive sales opportunities by working closely with the sales team to create decorated spec samples and marketing collateral. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales Operations, this position utilizes creativity and strong product knowledge to curate customized samples and materials that align with customer needs and help drive future business opportunities.

Essential Job Functions:

• Proactive Opportunity Creation:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential opportunities and receive end-user names, logos, and other relevant information.
  • Utilize creativity and artistic skills to proactively create decorated spec samples, virtuals, and marketing collateral tailored to each opportunity.
• Product and Offering Expertise:
  • Possess strong knowledge of the company's product categories and offerings to effectively curate samples and materials that showcase the range of products available.
  • Stay updated on new product releases, trends, and industry developments to enhance the quality and relevance of curated materials.
• Regional Support and Collaboration:
  • Be assigned to individual regions to support sales representatives with proactive opportunities, providing them with customized tools and materials to pursue new business.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales, operations, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Serve as a resource for internal product recommendations, leveraging knowledge of customer preferences and market trends to suggest suitable products for specific opportunities.
• Creativity and Artistry:
  • Demonstrate creativity and artistic flair in designing spec samples and marketing collateral that effectively showcase product features and benefits.
  • Adapt designs to meet varying customer preferences and branding guidelines while maintaining a cohesive brand image.

Qualifications:

• Strong creativity and artistic skills, with a passion for design and visual storytelling.
• In-depth knowledge of the Promotional Product Industry categories and offerings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency in all curated materials.
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with design software and tools is preferred.
