Job Description
As an Account Manager/Sales Engineer, you will promote custom HVAC solutions to commercial and industrial clients, and deal with engineers and architects clients within the territory of Sudbury Ontario. You will be responsible for developing and managing a new business territory. This position includes a salary of $80,000 - $120,000 with uncapped commissions, a car allowance and a lot of other perks!COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base Salary $80,000 to $120,000 plus uncapped commissions
The first year OTE - $200K
The 2nd year OTE - $300K

THE LOCATION
The office is located in Markham, ON
The sales territory is to cover Sudbury Ontario and its surrounding area
This is an Outside Sales role with a few days a week in the office required during the training period
THE PRODUCT/SERVICE
Custom HVAC solutions
Cooling Towers, chillers, heaters, heat pumps, ventilators
PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS
Engineering firms within the territory
Commercial and industrial clients
PRODUCT & SALES CYCLE
The average order value is $150K - $300K
The sales cycle is from 3 to 9 months
TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES
Account Management: 25% for the first year
New Business Development: 60% for the first year
Preparing Quotation, RFPs - admin related - 15%
Lead Sources:
Warm Leads Supplied: 25%
List Supplied: 75%

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
3-5 years minimum experience in Inside Sales/Outside Sales
2+ years in the commercial HVAC industry or technical engineering sales
A mechanical engineering degree is highly preferred
Being able to travel to the USA for tradeshows/training might be required
EDUCATION
Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering, and other related Engineering fields
