The Sales Solutions Consultant will play a pivotal role in advancing sales efforts by supporting multiple sales representatives and working directly with prospects to ensure that technical opportunities align with sales goals and business objectives. Reporting into the Sales team, this individual will focus on qualifying and developing opportunities for SaaS and service solutions. Their expertise in leading platform demos and gathering essential prospect information will help guide the sales cycle from discovery to commitment.

Responsibilities

    • Qualify and develop technical opportunities aligned with sales objectives and business goals.
    • Collaborate with sales reps on discovery calls, gathering in-depth profile information on each prospect.
    • Ensure all requirements are gathered to make informed commitments on timing and pricing for qualified opportunities.
    • Lead product demos, including platform overview sessions and product-specific deep dives.
    • Provide technical expertise during client demos and early-stage discussions, addressing specific needs in CLO compliance and portfolio management.
    • Set up and configure demo environments tailored to client scenarios.
    • Keep demo tools updated with the latest features, aligning with prospect needs for effective presentations.
    • Meet regularly with Product Managers to become technically proficient in each product offered by the company.
    • Work closely with internal teams to relay new sales-driven requirements, streamline demo processes, and ensure timely responses to client inquiries.
    • Gather and analyze feedback from prospects, offering recommendations to the product team.
    • Maintain communication loops with internal teams, sharing actionable insights for future product development.
    • Support sales team efforts by addressing technical questions and requirements in the sales cycle.
    • Work can average 45-50 hours per week.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical sales, ideally within financial services.
    • Proven ability to qualify and develop opportunities for SaaS and services solutions.
    • Technically proficient and eager to gain in-depth knowledge of all company products.
    • Strong technical knowledge in CLO compliance, portfolio management, and structured finance products.
    • Skilled in demo tools, CRM systems, and comfortable multitasking in a dynamic environment.
    • Excellent relationship-building skills and effective in high-stakes technical discussions.
    • 25-50% travel expected.
    • This role is hybrid (2-3 days a week in office) if you are within a commutable distance to a Siepe office, otherwise it will be 100% remote.
$100,000 - $150,000 a year
This is the lowest to highest base salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. Additionally, employees are also eligible to earn commissions.
