Summary:
The Sales Solutions Architect - B2C is responsible for providing technical sales support for the Sales and Relationship Managers for the ChoicePay B2C Payments product. The Sales Solutions Architect is a subject matter expert on B2C disbursements, evangelist for B2C payments within the organization. This position involves training the sales team and new hires, new sales support for prospects and clients, product demonstrations, leading webinars, presenting the product at user conference. The Sales Solutions Architect will also be responsible for collaborating with internal teams including Treasury Management Sales, Marketing and Product Development to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. The successful candidate will have experience in building relationships and navigating sales cycle.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise in support of B2C Payments sales efforts for the ChoicePay product.
- Evangelist for the B2C payments business and interacts weekly with the product director(s).
- Leads any proof of concepts needed in the sales process.
- Maintains knowledge on existing and new competitors in the industry for B2C disbursements.
- Presents custom demonstrations to prospects after evaluating their needs and matching to the best solution.
- Works with key business partners (e.g., Treasury Management sales, Relationship Managers, Business Bankers) to profitably grow the B2C ChoicePay product.
- Evaluates client needs and recommends to the Product Manager changes in product features/functions.
- Builds on existing client base and book of business to identify new prospects and verticals.
- Maintains accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data
- Actively manages and owns sales pipeline from the prospect's initial inquiry to successful onboarding
- Where necessary, supports marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and conferences.
- Travel of 20-30% on average expected for this position
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6+ years of related experience including experience within the Payment Industry and sales support roles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior B2C disbursement and overall payables experience
- Understands various consumer payment methods like, ACH, Wire, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, RTP
- Understands open loop and closed loop cards
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with online systems
- Working knowledge of accounting & payables management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint
