Seeking an experienced Automatic Door Sales Engineer to be responsible for developing relationships and closing opportunities created through lead generation abilities. Excellent career opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans and document job site conditions.
- Assimilate and consolidate job specific information, documents, application information, specifications, and any other pertinent information for proposal generation.
- Interact as required with the GM to determine if any pricing strategies could to be applied to the project per territory relevance.
- Work directly with GM, other Sales Engineers, Head of Installation and Service to validate pricing and assist in managing changes due to changes in project scope.
- Collaborate with personnel to obtain credit information, schedule equipment deliveries and installations while promoting timely closeout of projects.
- Obtain an AAADM certification to ensure complete knowledge of ANSI standards.
- Ad hoc assignments required in support of sales operations.
- Pinpoint projects bidding within a territory and generate timely comprehensive proposals.
- Create RFIs to remove any ambiguity in the plans to provide accurate bidding information.
- Identify projects in planning stages and create/leverage rapports with architects and owners.
- Continually develop lasting relationships with end customers, property owners, hospitals, contractors, glaziers, and hardware suppliers to generate brand loyalty and repeat business.
- Submit accurate weekly reports and participate in rhythm calls.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree.
2. 3 or more years of Automatic Door or Related Industry Sales experience.
