The Regional Account Manager – South (RAM) position supports the Commercial and Operations teams and will effectively drive contracted new business and foster existing in his/her assigned territory. Specifically, the RAM can expect to do so by conducting the following activities:
- Build and manage a book of business of new and existing customers in and around the Granbury to San Antonio Metroplex, by using prospecting tactics, as well as relationship nurturing and closing skills.
- Travel to customer sited to educate customers, conduct sales, site surveys, or other related commercial and/or operational tasks.
- Managing the full customer experience from on-boarding to off-boarding, and all in between.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage a book of business and volume numbers for assigned Service Center branches within your assigned territory and drive new sales volume by contracting customers deriving from organic, marketing driven, and personal prospected leads.
- Utilize Salesforce.com CRM platform to manage and report on your existing customer database and new potential customer pipeline health and opportunities.
- Ownership of new customer on-boarding to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Meet and exceed new customer annual volume and margin goals set forth by the Commercial Leadership team.
- Support the Marketing team by following up on leads and executing customer events in your assigned coverage territory.
- Responsible for proving and communicating a positive ROI of all new customers, to the Operations and Commercial Management teams.
- Be the liaison between Pinnacle Propane and the customer
- Assist the Finance Accounts Receivable Department with collecting customer payments when past due adhering to our terms and conditions.
- Prioritize, manage, and monitor ongoing projects and performance of projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Associates Degree in Business or related field, and/or 2+ years of sales or customer service experience with a strong track record of achieving goals and objectives
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in B2B Sales and managing business relationship with decision makers
- Knowledge of CRM software and the understanding of how to manage a pipeline
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power Point, and Outlook
- Experience and/or a basic understanding of the Oil and Gas or related industry
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact effectively and professionally with others
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, engage and influence people at all levels (including C-level)
- Is creative and innovative in finding the right solutions and has a proactive and entrepreneurial mind set.

- Salary + Sales Commission

- $40k+ annual potential

TRAVEL AND HOURS
- This position is full-time, remote, based out of Irving TX but residing in its assigned region.
- Approximately 75% travel may be required with this position to effectively meet area goals
