Job Description

We are looking to add to our Rockford Sales Team!


In this role you will provide sales support to the Rockford Branch in a variety of different sales functions including inside sales, outside sales, vendor managed inventory, front counter/ walk-in's, answering customers calls, etc. based on the needs of the branch. You will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with current and prospective customers.


This position is entry level and we will teach you & give you all the tools and ongoing support you need to be successful.


This is a great way to gain experience and build relationships as you grow into the focus you are passionate about.


Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to obtain coverage through company's auto insurance carrier according to company Driver Safety Policy.


Primary duties include:

  • Meets key performance indicator (KPI) goals in Sales Revenue, Gross Profit %, Pricing Structure Followed %, Sales Orders, and Quotes.
  • Participates in Branch L10 (weekly) meetings and Manager one on one meetings.
  • Maintains a degree of cleanliness and organization at home branch location.
  • Assists in day-to-day operations of branch as needed, including but not limited to front counter Sales, operations functions, quoting, follow-up, order entry, branch procurement, expediting, delivery, and record keeping.

Position Qualifications

  • 1(+) year(s) sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of product line and pricing
  • Must have the ability to close on leads prospected
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reasoning ability to solve practical problems
  • Time management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • A well-organized team player who can relate to employees in all departments of organization
  • Proficient in common computer software including MS Office and database software
  • Valid driver’s license
