Job Summary:
The sales “Hunter” role focused on driving net new MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) and annual revenue (ARR) for the organization. Prospect and close new business in a defined vertical, identifying new opportunities and selling within the healthcare vertical. Secure MSAs with new clients negotiating, price, term, scope, etc. Coordinate all sales resource needs (technical, legal, consulting, and financial) as needed to support closing deals. Support recently closed sales for a defined period to complete implementation and grow revenue through additional upselling and cross-selling within the customer.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Achieving & exceeding individual sales quota
- Develop and manage relationships internally as well as within your respective industry vertical
- Create and maintain a strategic sales plan
- Prospect, identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities
- Create enterprise-level proposals, contracts, and value assessments
- Present to C-level executives and manage complex sales cycles
- Help build account plans with the account team and strategies for each target account
- Uncover customer needs and align to mPulse solutions
- Creatively identify new ROI-driven use cases
- Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement through quarter business reviews and weekly forecast calls
- Share market insights, including product and competitive.
Skills/Abilities/Experience:
- Experience selling into the healthcare environment (payers, providers, hospitals/IDN, wellness)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare or other related field
- 5-10 years of direct sales experience in a quota-carrying role in the software/technology sector
- Experience in SaaS preferred
- Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles at all organizational levels
- Track record of success in carrying a quota of $1m at a minimum
- Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10%+ of company) in past positions
- Proficient in MS Office, Salesforce.com, and other business software
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50%
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare or other related field
- 5 years of direct sales and/or business development experience in a quota-carrying role in the software/technology sector
- Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles at all organizational levels
- Track record of success in carrying a quota of $1m at a minimum
- Proficient in MS Office, Salesforce.com, and other business software
- Experience selling into the healthcare environment (payers, providers, hospitals/IDN, wellness)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 10 lbs. weight.
