Job Title: Director of Sales - Commercial Landscaping

Location: New Haven, CT

Recruiter: Bloom Talent Solutions, the premier Landscape Industry Recruiting Agency, is partnering with a premier commercial landscape maintenance company in New Haven, CT, to find an experienced and driven Director of Sales.

Position Overview:

As the Director of Sales, you will lead the sales team, craft and execute winning strategies, and drive significant revenue growth. You’ll oversee key accounts, ensure customer satisfaction, and play a pivotal role in the company’s continued success. This role demands strong leadership, strategic vision, and proven sales expertise.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • OTE (On-target-earnings): $250k - $295k+

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering professional growth.
  • Account Management: Maintain and expand relationships with key clients while pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track sales metrics, provide accurate forecasts, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and operations to align sales efforts with company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in sales leadership, preferably in the service industry.
  • Skills: Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Traits: Results-driven, adaptable, and customer-focused.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $290,000.00 per year
