About the Role: Seeking a highly energetic and experienced Business Transient Sales Manager to join our TEAM! If you enjoy prospecting and building relationships with clients consider this opportunity!
As Business Transient Sales Manager, you will be a part of our charismatic Sales TEAM creating new business opportunities that will allow the hotel to achieve budgeted room revenue for specific market segments. This position must have a strong grasp of market and industry trends and utilize this knowledge in strategic planning. The Business Transient Sales Manager should have strong networking skills and/or join related conferences that will extend the reach of the business.

Responsibilities:
- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed business travel revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
- Advanced level of producing business transient revenue through directly soliciting business via aggressive prospecting, making presentations, developing contracts, negotiating and closing sales.
- Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. Coordinate various departments' participation in servicing accounts
- Prepare information for, meet with and entertain clients as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account.
- Build and maintain relationships with accounts, peers, and clients.
- Identify and develop strategic business relationships with industry partners and other potential customers.
- Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings.
- Prepare and participate in weekly / monthly revenue strategy calls
- Be actively present at the front desk/lobby area to engage with existing and potential business travel guests, acting as the main point of contact for their needs and ensuring a personalized, high-quality experience throughout their stay
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Sales Manager experience in a hotel environment
- Hilton brand and Netrez / OnQ PMS and OnQ RMS related experience highly desired
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution desired
- Solid computer skills and knowledge of various discipline-focused computer programs, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must be flexible on evenings and weekends for business reasons, including attending social functions, training classes etc
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills including follow up, time management, ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
