Job Description

Deluxe Garages is a growing Home Service Business that is looking to hire a Sales Manager to manage the day to day operations of the sales team.

This individual will help Deluxe grow from 5 million in annual sales to 20 million and be instrumental in building out playbooks for future growth and expansion. A big part of this role will be documenting processes and procedures and reporting. You should have extensive experience documenting, and reporting that you can share before applying. We are not looking for someone that needs to be taught any aspects of this role. It's fine, if you don’t have experience in everything, it's a pretty broad scope role but you should be a self starter and not have to get daily guidance. You will be one of three senior leaders in the company and are expected to hold your own weight!

About Deluxe Garages - We are growing and growing fast, we are on pace to 3x our revenue for the second year in the row. We have opened our second warehouse in New Braunfels and are signing papers in Corpus Christi and College Station. In 2024, we plan to expand into Artificial Turf and the biggest markets in Texas including Dallas and Houston. We are profitable and investing heavily back into the business to build a 100 million dollar business. We are fast paced and at times it can be a crazy, but we love what we do and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for several areas, some that are built and some that need to be built. I have described these areas below in greater detail.

Front Line Management - This individual will directly manage 15 sales reps and should be an expert in In-Home sales. Allowing them to coach, gameplan, QA and inspire their team to push for revenue records every month. The sales manager is expected to run weekly sales meetings, provide new information from top level management, weekly 1 to 1s with the sales team, cheerleading and support.

Client Management - Able to handle client escalations and coaching reps through tough conversations. Escalations should be easily handled keeping the customer from leaving bad reviews and keeping the company's best interest in play. You should have several examples where you were able to compromise and keep a situation from further escalating.

Revenue Operations - This individual will be responsible for continuing reporting and building out dashboards that show how the current sales team is performing on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Reports right now are built out manually using Google Sheets, Zapier, Notion.so, Slack workflows and our current CRMs GoHighlevel (pre-quote) and Workiz (after quote). This individual should have expert level knowledge of Google Sheets, Zapier and be familiar with CRMs and data clean up.

This individual will be responsible for forecasting sales revenue and working with the Chief Marketing Officer to make sure we are putting marketing efforts to match our sales efforts. Sales forecasting will be used to hire crews, prepare for new markets and help us identify trends with our current sales team.

This individual will also be responsible for continuous price improvements making sure we are leading the marketing on pricing and we should have the data to back it up.

Sales Follow Ups/Rehash - This individual will be responsible for or responsible for hiring an individual for following up and closing appointments that did not close in person. 25% of our revenue should come from our rehash program.

Door to Door Sales Program - Currently 98% of our revenue comes from Google, Facebook or Tiktok ads where we set the appointment for the sales rep. I want to start depending less on Paid ads and build out a stronger rehash program for upsells, referrals and a door knocking program. This individual should understand how to build a door knocking program, how to continuously recruit, how to set compensation and how to train reps to close from a cold knock.

Commercial Sales - This individual will be responsible for hiring and setting up our first commercial sales team member. Commercial sales and estimating would be a great plus but we can learn together on this one if need be.

Sales Training - We need to build a sales training program from scratch and I need you to be the person to do it and do it well. Again, I don’t care if you can train if you can’t document. We plan to take this program all over the country and you won’t be able to be in person for everyone and your documentation that you build will be the heart of our program.

Product Offerings - This individual should be an expert in building sales processes for different products. We introduced a cabinet line, overhead racks and slat walls in the beginning of the year and are looking for this individual to build out our sales process to make our storage offerings sold in every estimate we submit.

Compensation: Dependent on experience, 85-100k + override on revenue generated by your sales team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
