We’re currently searching for a Product Marketing and Sales Specialist to join our team. If you’ve got the following skills and work experience, we’d love to hear from you!

SUMMARY

The position will be involved in various aspects of marketing and sales of a series of products for North American market under the guidance of the marketing and sales manager. The candidate will work closely with a cross-business marketing group across the company to align the product marketing and customer outreach initiatives to identify new leads, capture opportunities and publicize the solutions and services.

The successful candidate will work a hybrid schedule but will be required to work from the office (in Vaughan office) a minimum of 60% in office. The position also requires travel to USA for business meetings and attending exhibition events and product demonstrations for customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifying new customers and opportunities, tracking and evaluating business opportunities
  • Supporting customer presentations and follow ups
  • Engaging with potential customers for responding to questions or gain their interest on the solutions and services to keep interested and help close the deals
  • Interface with customers for after-sale support to ensure return business - (identifying and logging issues, timely communicating with customers throughout the process, coordinating and scheduling maintenance team activities for issue resolution)
  • Conducting market research to identify the target customers and competitors
  • Maintain and update marketing plan for key products – based on input from the team (incorporating product vision/mission, value proposition, marketing methods, sales forecast and success metrics)
  • Preparing collaterals and marketing material including brochures, presentation slides, white papers, quick guides, user manuals, etc.
  • Providing sales and marketing feedback to technical team for product development and services improvement
  • Preparing sales pitch for different categories of products and target customers
  • Identify and apply for funding resources and potential grants or programs from government or investment entities that support new manufacturing businesses and expanding to new markets.
  • Preparing detailed plan for sale pitches, product promotion (demos, exhibitions, roadshows) and online marketing (website, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Tracking sales, customer info and business opportunities in the ERP tool of the company for a systematic approach to the marketing and preparing plans and monthly reports.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree or professional training in marketing and sales with focus on electric and gas (energy) industry
  • Excellent Fluency in English language – both technical and business writing and speaking
  • Minimum 5 years of working history in the product development or marketing and sales
  • Education background in areas such as business administration, marketing, and sales (license and certificate from accredited organization is preferred)
  • Experience with launching new product and service lines will be an asset
  • Extensive experience with business development, marketing of products and customer engagement
  • Prior experience and proven track records of contract negotiation and successful sales record
  • Experience in the utilities industries will be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of tools and software program utilized for salesforce management and product tracking
  • Strong organization skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks to meet external and internal deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
