About the Company:
Wellstart Medical (“Wellstart” or the “Company”) was founded in 2019 solely to improve diabetes DME care. Wellstart is a direct to consumer provider of continuous glucose monitors, insulin pump supplies, and other diabetes testing supply products. The Company provides patients with education, support, and access to a fast, simple, and reliable way to obtain diabetes supplies on a recurring basis.

Wellstart is seeking an District Sales Manager to promote and market the Company’s service to patients, health care professionals, and manufacturer partners in their assigned territory. The candidate must be driven, self-motivated, and have strong ambition to meet and succeed goals and objectives. This is a great opportunity for an established candidate seeking a position with tremendous upside potential.
Responsibilities:
- Establish strong relationships with internal and external healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, certified diabetes educators, and other staff members.
- Work closely with territory manufacturer representatives to help facilitate orders and coordinate necessary documentation with physician offices and/or insurance companies.
- Work in collaboration with other Wellstart teammates to expedite and complete referral orders.
- Maintain accurate sales records to measure and track the progress of referral accounts as well as provide timely reporting and analysis of the territory.
- Establish weekly/monthly budget sales goals and assist in developing projections for new territories in adjacent markets.
- Promote Wellstart as an emerging leader in providing diabetes DME supplies by engaging in promotional activities such as attending conventions, webinars, virtual meetings, or other gatherings as assigned or directed by Management of Wellstart.
- Distribute educational resources, training material, and other promotional literature to health care professionals throughout the territory.
- Keep current on the diabetes landscape and competitive trends in the industry.

Education and Experience:
- 2-5 years of medical or pharmaceutical inside or outside sales experience.
- Experience selling continuous glucose monitors or insulin pumps a plus, but not a requirement.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
