KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Audit Industry Marketing to join our Marketing organization.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the National Audit Marketing team as well as specific National Audit Industry Leaders to develop an industry-specific Audit marketing strategy for one or more industries and execute upon that marketing strategy; liaise with other relevant functions and marketing teams in order to ensure optimal coordination
- Serve as a strategic business partner to Audit Industry Leaders to define value proposition(s), key buyer challenges, solutions, value messages and positioning programs/exercises
- Develop thought leadership and messaging strategy, ensuring a differentiated POV in-an-effort to push the envelope in an evolving digital consumption landscape
- Create a virtual / in-person event strategy which positions our full Audit capabilities across the relevant Industry/Industries and generates lead flow
- Promote content, events, and other initiatives across full spectrum of digital / social channels
- Leverage leading MarTech tools to develop customer journeys that reflect KPMG’s business priorities, drive awareness and generate demand for priority Audit services
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience developing and executing upon a strategic marketing plan for a complex business, ideally skills in market research, navigating multiple stakeholders, ROI reporting, sponsorship identification and evaluation, project management, buyer persona development, buyer journey development and content strategy
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
- Deep knowledge of the business environment, KPMG’s scope of services, and client issues; possesses deep knowledge of leading practices, MarTech systems (for example: Salesforce and associated systems), digital / social marketing, content marketing, external benchmarks, and industry trends and understands how to apply them in the KPMG environment; knows how to derive insights and report on impact to propose strategies for growth
- Comprehends the dynamics of reputation/brand, relationship building, and revenue opportunities in a holistic marketing approach and has utilized data and analytics to devise growth programs towards business goals; understands target customer’s values and needs, and uses that knowledge to position services and solutions in the most relevant way, leveraging optimal channel mix
- Executive relationship manager and trusted, strategic marketing advisor with a proven ability to collaborate and manage expectations of senior business leaders; works well with/between groups with complementary and competing priorities to achieve common goals; knows how to manage people, timelines, plans, processes and budgets
- Understands how to create a point-of-view that is engaging and compelling through various channels and demonstrates capability to ask probing questions to gather meaningful insights and maintains continuous awareness of emerging industry trends
