Ada are partnered with a leading player in the Motion Control space who are looking for a Regional Sales Engineer as they scale up their team.Headlines:

They have 200+ employees globally spread and aim for 20% year-on-year growth after recently being bought out by a multi-national dollar A Player.
Role:
The core pillars of this role are to drive sales, nurture existing customer relationships, and identify new market opportunities, working closely with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute a strategic business plan.
You'll use your sales experience and technical background to open new doors in the territory, with as estimated split of 70% new business development and 30% account management.
You can expect travel of up to 50% around their Central territory: This territory includes eastern territory/states from Ontario, Canada south to Ohio, and East Coast States East to Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow sales by expanding existing customer accounts and identifying new market opportunities
- Manage incoming leads for the territory
- Lead strategic proposals based on customer needs
- Manage existing projects and relationships with OEMs and Value-Added Resellers.
- Regularly visit and expand customers to grow accounts
- Utilize their CRM systems, such as Salesforce, customer, and opportunity tracking.
- Stay current with market trends, customer needs, and upcoming company products.
(Essential)
- Engineering Degree
- Demonstrable sales skills
- Experience with motion control, servo motors, drives, or related products.
- Knowledge of Electricity, Mechatronics, Quality, Software, or Environmental Conditions.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills – the staple of good sales
- Self-driven and motivated
- Hunter mentality
- Mechatronics, Electricity, Software, Quality, or Environmental Conditions knowledge
- Servo/Automation systems knowledge
- Excellent planner and quick on your feet
- Experience with Salesforce is an advantage
