About the role
The Strategic Sales Support (SSS) Specialist develops proposal responses, presentations, business reviews*, research* and other follow-up responses (engagements) valued at approximately $3M+ that drive regional and national sales efforts for Adecco USA, Inc. (*Business reviews and research are most applicable to the Strategic Research and Business Review Group within the SSS team). The SSS Specialist project manages between 4-5 engagements simultaneously from start to finish; works with key stakeholders to create quality deliverables while meeting deadlines 100% of the time. The SSS Specialist provides thought leadership through customized writing, market data, spend analysis, industry trends, case studies and other supporting material to clearly articulate the proposed solution strategy and win themes within the response or presentation. The SSS Specialists works Monday - Friday and may occasionally need to work additional hours to accommodate project completion.
What you’ll be doing
- Utilizes Salesforce to collect and review assigned engagements and understand client requirements; discusses the response requirements with manager or Senior SSS Specialist to identify any key questions or gating factors to address with the sales or account leader
- Collaborates across national and global teams and subject matter experts (SMEs), including other Adecco Group brands, to develop diverse solutions and comprehensive proposal responses and presentations
- Initiates discussion of the response requirements and proposed solution strategy with the sales or account leader to identify pursuit team members and key milestones/gating factors of the deliverable
- Independently manages to completion multiple simultaneous deliverables of varying complexity utilizing Adecco branded templates.
- Proactively creates and project manages the engagement timeline; holds team members accountable to complete all deliverables to ensure on time delivery of the final response
- Researches the client’s pain points and industry trends, analyzes internal spend reports and case studies and tailors local market data and the solution strategy to create succinct and clear win themes and compelling messaging. Utilizes Adecco branded templates and our content knowledge and slideware libraries to tailor the response to the client and industry needs
- Proactively identifies and escalates/resolves (with senior specialist, manager or sales leader) issues with a deliverable (e.g., data integrity, compliance of items for submission) that may otherwise result in failure to submit a bid or potentially renew a contract. Drives accountability of team members (e.g., sales driver, legal, finance, risk, safety, credit) for problem resolution and secures approvals within Salesforce prior to submission of the final response
- Responsible for 100% compliance with our quality assurance (QA) review process prior to finalizing deliverable (e.g., reviews, discusses and incorporates proposed QA edits into final deliverable or provides explanation if edits are not incorporated)
- Fosters positive communication and builds relationships with team members, inclusive of senior leadership
- Coordinates delivery of the engagement responses based on the required delivery method
- Works with the sales/account leader to ensure all deliverables were successfully submitted and received by the client
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
About you
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field required with 2-4 years of work experience in sales support, writing, editing, project management and communications. Staffing industry experience is preferred.
