You’re Impact:
Nekoosa is seeking an ambitious and strategic Director of Sales to lead and drive profitable growth across our core and specialty product lines. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to expand our market presence by increasing product penetration and growing our distribution network. You’ll be a key architect in transforming our sales team into a high-performance, growth-focused organization built with top talent.
The Breakdown:
- Deliver TPM $ and grow revenue in your geographic area’s of responsibility - 60%
- Deliver $ Core TPM and $ Specialty TPM
- Increase paper application tape unit sales and revenue $
- Maintain core carbonless business per plan for each budget period
- Grow all specialty product business as forecasted in each plan year
- Generate $50K/year of project driven savings within the sales organization - 10%
- Initiate new pricing programs, free freight minimums, customer policies, product rationalization programs and sales team improvements to increase profitability across all product lines.
- Focus growth on most profitable product and customer opportunities.

Top-grade and develop the sales organization on-going year to year - 15%
- Establish a new performance curriculum to measure sales goals
- Create a development curriculum that identifies needs and enables every sales team member to advance their skills.
- Establish a updated process to manage all team member performance and facilitate talent upgrades

Develop annual sales plan and Sales Manager/BDM compensation programs - 10%
- Develop strategic plans for each SM/BDM territory that is a build to support the overall corporate plan
- Active participation on the Corp Leadership team.- 5%
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- +5 years leadership
- +10 years sales experience

Additional Information:
- Base Salary Range - $150k -$175k
- Bonus Target – $40k
- Travel Required: 50%
- Location: NJ/PA preferred but Midwest and East Coast acceptable
- Reports to: President
- Direct Reports: (7) direct sales (2) independent reps
