Job Overview:


The Event Sales Consultant will focus on promoting Verizon’s products and services at events. You will engage with potential customers, set up promotional materials, and ensure Verizon's strong presence at various venues.


Compensation:

  • Base Pay: $20.00
  • Opportunity to earn a monthly Event Sales Consultant bonus.


Responsibilities:


Event Management:

  • Identify and secure events for Verizon promotions.
  • Set up and manage promotional events from start to finish.
  • Ensure events align with program strategy and objectives.


Social Media:

  • Collaborate with the social media team to generate content and recommend strategies.
  • Engage with local influencers and maintain branded content on platforms.


Customer Engagement:

  • Engage with potential customers at events to promote Verizon products and services.
  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients and follow up as necessary.
  • Answer questions and provide detailed information about events.


Logistics Planning:

  • Coordinate logistics for event participation, including setup and teardown.
  • Maintain a professional and appealing booth/presentation area.


Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain relationships with event organizers and venue managers.


Sales and Reporting:

  • Track and report on event performance and sales metrics.
  • Provide feedback to improve future event participation and sales strategies.


Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize promotional strategies.


Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma; AA preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or promotional roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and engage with diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant software.


Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during events.


Training Requirements:


  • Complete a training program within 2 weeks of the official start date.
  • Participate in various online and computer-based training throughout employment.


Additional Information:


  • This position is full-time and non-exempt.
