Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to support our outside sales team, manage house accounts, and drive new business opportunities. This role involves outbound calling to schedule appointments for the outside sales representative, responding to inbound lead requests, managing customer accounts, coordinating logistics, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Sales Calls
- Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to set appointments for the outside sales representative.
- Qualify leads through research and strategic questioning to determine fit for the company’s products or services.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects for the outside sales team.
2. Customer Account Management (house accounts)
- Manage a base of existing customers, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and identifying additional sales opportunities.
- Build relationships with customers, serving as their primary point of contact for routine inquiries and requests.
3. Inbound Lead Response
- Respond promptly to inbound lead requests via phone, email, and web inquiries.
- Qualify and convert leads into potential sales appointments for the outside sales team.
4. Appointment Scheduling
- Schedule meetings and appointments between qualified prospects and outside sales representatives.
- Manage calendar invites and follow-ups, ensuring clear communication between customers and sales team members.
5. Pickup Request Execution
- Handle customer requests for pickups, ensuring timely coordination with logistics to meet customer expectations.
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team to ensure smooth execution of pickup and delivery processes.
6. Collaboration with Logistics & Finance
- Work closely with the logistics team to ensure all customer deliveries and service requests are met in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate billing and resolution of any payment-related issues.
- Ensure a seamless customer experience by coordinating across departments.
7. Opportunity Qualification
- Research potential opportunities in target markets, identifying key decision-makers and evaluating prospects for product/service fit.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s products, services, and solutions to effectively communicate with customers.
8. Data Management and Reporting
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and appointments in CRM systems.
- Prepare regular reports on sales progress, opportunities, and customer feedback to share with management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an inside sales, customer service, or similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
- Familiarity with CRM software and lead management tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as outside sales, logistics, and finance.

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
