Job Description

Genesis of Kelowna is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to grow with the store and take to new heights. This beautiful state of the art location was recently built in late 2023. We are growing at a rapid pace!

The successful candidate will have strong sales experience background in the automotive industry. Must be self motivated, energetic, positive attitude, and have the abilities to manage the stresses of results/managing of the store.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new & used sales daily
  • Manage inventory (Pricing is solid, pictures are solid, all inventory is marketed to sell)
  • Complete daily game plan meetings with every Sales Consultant & hold team accountable
  • Lead and train Sales Team on process and inventory
  • Review daily appointments were met and follow up with customers for feedback with strong close to sale
  • Monitor the sales floor and lot, to ensure all customers are welcomed by of the Sales Team
  • Have full knowledge of product, including all vehicles on the lot, products and services offered by our Fixed Operations Team
  • Motivate Sales Team
  • Be precise and timely with ownership required reports
  • Be able to take direction from experienced and knowledgeable leaders
  • Be able to crush goals
  • Be ready to be a part of a championship team

Requirements:

  • Have a minimum 5+ years experience in Automotive Sales
  • Previous Management experience would be an asset
  • Have a proven track record leading teams
  • PBS knowledge is considered a key asset
  • Hold or be able to obtain a VSA Licence
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Have a valid driver licence
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule including working Saturdays and being on-call
  • Customer focused and strong communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $95,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Every Weekend
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kelowna, BC V1X 2B9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Automotive sales: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • VSA (preferred)

Work Location: In person
