Sales Manager (Full Time) - Nashville, TN Area
OVERVIEW
- The Sales Manager is responsible for establishing and coordinating all sales and marketing strategies to support Division operations. They are responsible for driving and achieving sales goals by implementing company strategies, while developing and leading a sales team to maximize sales volume and profitability for the company.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement sales strategies, by balancing key performance measures to maintain and improve the Company’s sales results.
- Monitor and analyze sales pipeline, business ratios and sales activities of each sales consultant
- Monitor backlog status and loan tracking process
- Manage the contract and color selection process to ensure accurate and timely processing of paperwork.
- Collaborate with other team leadership in developing sales forecasts in line with the overall business plan.
- Submit sales activity and other reports needed or requested.
- Recruit, Hire and Train sales agents and sales associates. Establish a training mentor to assist with onboarding new hires. Ensure appropriate staffing needs are met.
- Forecast model operating budget and be held accountable to maintain budget.
- Hold team accountable for their job standards and responsibilities.
- New Start/New Phase accountable that all team members are up to speed on plans, selections, and plat map. All resources are in place for team to sell and perform at top level with customer.
- Ensure sales software (LASSO) is being implemented by sales agents and used to the highest level.
- Perform minimum of two sales meetings a month for training purposes.
- Establish a follow up program to ensure communication with prospects and buyers are being done on a consistent basis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- The candidate must be a current Tennessee broker’s license holder.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and valid motor vehicle liability insurance are required. Must be able to travel daily to model homes in the area assigned.
- Be able to manage up to a team of 8-14 people effectively.
- The candidate must have prior experience in new home sales experience and ideally also have prior experience in new home sales team management.
- Strong Computer skills.
- Strong Communication and Presentation skills.
- Strong Coaching skills.
- Organized and detailed with processes and paperwork.
- Have some mortgage knowledge.
- College Degree Preferred.
