Job Description
As aSenior Sales Engineer specializing in manufacturing materials such as bearings or similar, you'll drive project success by establishing networks, initiating new projects, and ensuring seamless transitions to internal sales teams.
Your role involves:
- Utilizing technical expertise to address challenges and propose innovative solutions to attract new customers annually.
- Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing to ensure timely product developments aligned with customer needs.
- Tracking market trends to guide new business ideation and fostering an entrepreneurial culture across teams.
- Participating in strategy discussions and industry events while traveling up to 60% of the time.
- Demonstrated ability to meet growth objectives and adapt to market changes.
- Strong strategic planning, technical, financial, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, research, and analytical abilities.
- Enthusiastic with a sincere customer-service orientation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- 5+ years’ technical sales, business development or engineering experience, bearing experience preferred.
- Technical aptitude and industry knowledge of bearings or other similar materials with commercial experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and passport for travel, expected up to 60% of the time.
Location: Remote - but needs to be with driving distance of 2 hours of La Porte IN - come in the office a couple of times a month.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
