Responsibilities
The highest-earning salespeople in any industry focus 100% of their time on income-producing activities:
- Prospect time blocking
- Calling outbound/inbound leads
- Generating referrals
- Determined follow-up
A six-figure Sales Manager will:
- Provide a FANTASTIC member experience that is educational, supporting, and upholds the integrity of the Anytime Fitness Brand.
- Have an "owner" mentality. You will be responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of the club, including profitability, asset management, accounting compliance, member satisfaction, sales, personnel training, and employee development.
- Read, watch, and engage in all required training associated with the role.
- Maintain managerial oversight for all departments (Membership Sales, Personal Training, Group Exercise, and Maintenance) and communicate regularly with department heads regarding the performance of each department.
- Provide fitness floor assistance to all members to ensure safety, provide education, and motivate members.
- Recruit/Team Build: Hire Qualified personal trainers and lead them to build/manage clientele.
- Maintain High Membership Level: Constant action to increase gym memberships and personal training revenue. Retain existing members, gym managers communicate regularly via newsletters or emails with special offers and incentives to renew membership and earn referrals.
- Hit predetermined goals for bonus opportunity.
- Manage the overall facility in cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure all members feel competent, confident, and connected by providing superior customer service through complimentary and based services/programming.
- Work closely with department heads on making the decision to hire all staff at the club.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required, or equivalent work experience.
- Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry.
- Always be willing to train new, motivated people.
- Full-time, 50 hours per week, including weekends as needed.
- Eligible for opportunities to start at a higher Tier level based on experience and education.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Disciplined in time management, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Computer literate, tech-savvy.
- Energetic and friendly.
- A love of sales!

We've worked hard to ensure that when our team members follow structured routines, we out-earn the other fitness facilities in the region. We offer the highest earning potential in the industry, with competitive base salary plus commission and profit-sharing. This position will require active lead generation and outbound dialing.
