Salary: Starting at $75,000 per year; salary is negotiable depending on experience

Schedule: Spring through Fall, you may work up to 50 hours per week. Your workdays typically start at 7 am and may extend to 12-hour days on occasion.

Construction Operations Manager Expectations:

  • You will oversee administrative tasks, such as invoicing, scheduling, and inventory management, as well as big picture financial responsibilities, such as monitoring expenses, budgeting and financial reporting.
  • You will engage with clients, upsell services, and manage customer communication.
  • You’ll manage relationships with suppliers and contractors, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing office staff, such as the Office Assistant, and ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • You will hire, train, and supervise staff. You will conduct employee evaluations, hold team members accountable, and foster a growth-oriented culture.
  • We will rely on you to oversee and assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts and provide us with constructive feedback to enhance the impact of marketing strategies.
  • We will depend on you to coordinate, schedule and lead meetings, ensuring effective communication within the team, as well as external parties.
  • You will identify areas for process improvement, implement changes to increase efficiency, and contribute to strategic planning for company growth.
  • You will ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment with all our employees.
  • We will depend on you to bring organization and structure to the administrative side of our operations.

Construction Operations Manager Skills and Qualifications:

  • Customer-facing experience
  • Marketing and/or sales experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience developing goals and strategies and implementing processes
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with LMN (Landscape Management Network) or similar CRM tools is a plus!
  • Familiarity with the construction industry is a plus!
