Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Marriott Hotel Sales and Marketing strategies, with proven experience in optimizing revenue. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to analyze market trends to develop effective sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives and increase market share.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
- Negotiate contracts, groups accounts, meeting room clients, and close deals with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management Team to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns and market positioning.
- Utilize Salesforce, One Source, and other CRM tools to track sales performance, manage customer relationships, and report on key metrics.
- Assist the hotel operations team as required during busy seasons.
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Proven experience in computer skills, hospitality sales strategies, and recording input, organizing files, and monitoring sales leads.
- Exceptional analytical skills to assess market conditions and customer preferences.
- Proficient in Salesforce, One Source, RFP, Meeting Planner, or similar CRM software for managing sales processes.
- Strong outside sales experience with a focus on building client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across departments.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
