Who You Are:
As a Sales Support Specialist at Critical Start, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team members. Your contributions will be highly valued for your efficiency, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, ensuring that we meet customer needs effectively through quoting and order acceptance. Critical Start’s Sales Support team is an integral part of our sales organization, working closely with team members across various departments to support company growth initiatives. As a member of our Sales Operations department, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in roles such as Sales Support & Deal Desk, Business Intelligence, and Core Business Systems Administration. We embrace daily opportunities for learning and solving challenges together as a team.
What You Will Be Doing?:
  • Support all new business and renewals sales quoting with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review and prepare incoming purchase orders for processing, ensuring alignment with Sales and Finance team expectations per opportunity.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and leaders within regional sales teams to support mutual priorities.
  • Enhance proficiency in Salesforce, CPQ, and other sales productivity tools to bolster team support and system efficiency.
  • Familiarize yourself with channel partner contracts and agreements.
  • Maintain high data integrity and accuracy across internal systems.
  • Analyze and generate reports that bolster sales campaigns, initiatives, and territory deliverables.
  • Develop familiarity with Critical Start’s sales processes and metrics.
  • Display goal-oriented and proactive approaches in providing innovative solutions for Critical Start’s growth, scalability, and revenue target attainment.
  • Contribute significantly as a key member of the Sales Support team, embodying a team-focused mindset, strong work ethic, and commitment to collaborative communication.
What You Will Bring?:
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience within Sales Support, Inside Sales, Customer Service, Deal Desk, or similar roles.
  • Strong focus on process and attention to detail.
  • Applicable mathematical skills.
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Adept at prioritizing tasks, identifying challenges or blockers, and communicating clearly and concisely with teams that are constantly on the move.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Basic familiarity with sales terminology is preferred.
  • Prior experience with CRM/Salesforce is a plus.
