POSITION SUMMARY
Provide service to clients in conjunction with the Account Executive, while providing marketing and assistant level support with regards to new business and renewals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist in the collection of information from potential clients to support the underwriting and quoting process
- Work with the Account Executive to evaluate the Risk Assessment in order to identify which carriers best align with client needs
- Analyze information to prepare applications and/or perform online rating to customize insurance programs suited to individual clients
- Gain a working knowledge of carrier appetites and quoting platforms
- Assist in completing new and renewal applications, binders, and correspondence
- Reassess policy needs of existing clients at renewal and/or other life-changing events
- Issue Binders, Evidence of Property Insurance, and Auto ID cards.
- Follow corporate workflow procedures and guidelines
- Perform general insurance tasks, which include invoicing, certificates, auto ID cards, binder extensions, and endorsements
- Responsible for integrity of policy data in Agency Management Systems
- Provide outstanding customer service and teamwork and seek to improve whenever possible
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities but is expected to mentor new team members and collaborate with team members when appropriate. Promptly inform supervisor of all matters that may give rise to an E&O claim.

Starting pay for this non-exempt position is $24.00 - 26.00/ hour. Pay may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates, commensurate with experience.
Requirements:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Work Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
This position requires use of the following software or applications:

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations (if applicable)
- Possess or actively pursue industry designation of CISR or equivalent
- Possess and maintain a Colorado multiple lines license
- Requires current Colorado driver’s license and acceptable MVR
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms under 1/3 of the time
- Must be able to stand or walk 1/3 to 2/3 of the time
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, talk or hear, sit over 2/3 of the time
- Requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. less than 1/3 of the time
- Work environment while in the office is moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, moderate traffic)
