Sales Account Manager - Raleigh, NC
Pay: 70K-105K Depending on Experience
We are currently in search for a Sales Account Manager to join our team covering our Raleigh Market area. Concrete Supply Co. is the region’s premier provider of ready-mix concrete services!
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Area Manager, the Account Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining favorable relationships with current and potential customers, achieving sales goals of our ready mix concrete business, and developing successful sales strategies / plans for our business.

Requirements/Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or demonstrated sales experience. Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word. Ability to read and interpret civil design drawings, engineering production drawings is a plus.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Essential Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, drive, use fine motor skills and use repetitive motion. The employee is occasionally required to bend, kneel, squat, climb or balance.
This position requires an employee to lift to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to wet, humid condition airborne particles, and extreme heat or cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration. Working conditions include exposure to noise and working with others.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, vibrant relationships with customers and potential customers
- Assist in developing strategy and tactics that ensure the attainment of company sales goals and profitability with key customers
- Conduct in-depth analysis to include on demand forecasting, competitor capabilities, customer profiles and the next best alternatives
- Identify and bid all appropriate projects within assigned marketing area. Participate in the development of bid strategy for each job
- Foster a collaborative, team-based approach across departments to ensure the highest levels of customer service
- Establish short and long term goals and strategies in regard to key clients and prospects
- Develop specific action plans to achieve goals
- Will be responsible for meeting specific sales volumes and profit margin goals
- Actively participate in industry-related associations as required in order to develop and maintain key networking and business relationships
- Prospect opportunities and companies and market products within core markets
- Maintain a high level of market intelligence throughout the region
