Position Description:
The Sales and Brewery Coordinator will assist the Sales and Brewing departments in all needed sales and brewery related admin including tasks in VIP/SRS, COLA filing, KAM related paperwork, assets organization, ordering operating supplies and all New Item Form processes. They will also assist in projects related to Annual Business Planning including work performed in both Excel and Powerpoint. In addition, the Sales and Brewery Coordinator will assist in all shipping needs.
Additionally, the Sales and Brewery Coordinator will attend festivals, tastings and events on behalf of Von Ebert Brewing. Tasks included in event support can/will include setting up equipment and displays, pouring beer, interacting with buyers and customers, handing out materials and educating consumers on our beers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Sales in form processing, data entry and overall organization of assets
- VIP/SRS including coding shipments, creating new items and all item maintenance
- TTB and COLAs, submitting and filing them
- Complete all New Item Forms needed at distributors and chains within the time frame that is required
- Assist in preparing chain (KAM) presentations as needed
- Assisting in Annual Business Planning as needed with knowledge of both excel and PowerPoint
- Prepare and send all Pre-order and New Beer emails as needed
- Organize and maintain all digital brewery assets
- Ordering and shipping
- Assist in ordering operating supplies for the brewery team
- Assist in shipping needs for both the Sales and Brewing departments
- Assist with organization and ordering of merchandise
- Assist and run off-site events in areas where Von Ebert beer is sold as assigned by the Director of Sales; beer festivals typically held on the weekends
- Assist with account promotions
- Assist with beer festival coordination
- Maintain, clean and keep in good working order all event equipment, including but not limited to Jockey Boxes and all corresponding parts
- Secure and transport beer to and from event sites if needed
- Set up, break down and clean pouring stations at event sites including jockey boxes, CO2, event tents, tables, merch.
- Execute beer tastings while engaging and educating consumers at events
- Secure knowledge of Von Ebert beers, general information about the company and general brewing knowledge and be able to answer basic questions about these topics
- Ensure Von Ebert brand standards are followed at all events
- Complete post analysis of all events
- Report to and remain in regular correspondence with the Director of Sales and Director of Brewery Operations no less than once a week to check in/complete and submit weekly activities
- Maintain a calendar at least six weeks out in advance
- Attend sales team and all company meetings and events as required
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
- Acquire OLCC and WA MAST card within 45 days of the start date
- Experience with VIP/SRS preferred
- Valid Driver License with a good driving record
- Must have own transportation to get to and from work and events
- Strong work ethic and self-starting attitude
- Willingness to regularly work during evenings and weekends when needed
- Excellent time management skills: ability to be proactive and take initiative
- Excellent organizational skills- detail oriented & able to manage priorities and routine functions effectively and efficiently
- Strong communication skills: ability to talk to others to convey information effectively; strong written communication skills
- Ability to give high priority to customer satisfaction
- Works courteously and professionally with all distributors and co-workers
- Must have the ability to operate a computer with knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Genuine enthusiasm for craft beer and an active participant in the craft beer community
- Must have a firm understanding of draft equipment with ability to troubleshoot in the field
- The desire to work in a fast-paced, growing company
- Ability to think outside the box and propose new ideas
Job Requirements
- Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Able to stoop, crawl, twist, turn, lift, kneel, climb ladders and stairs
- Able to regularly lift/carry 50 pounds
- Able to work in indoor and outdoor environment with sometimes slippery floors
- Able to work in varying degrees of temperatures that is typical for the beer industry
- Able to operate a motor vehicle
- Able to work 6-8 hours on your feet
