Senior Payroll Specialist

Our client in Edmonton is seeking a SeniorPayroll Specialist to become a part of their team. This temporary-to-permanent role, suited for a dedicated payroll specialist who possesses a proven commitment to customer service and a solid understanding of payroll systems.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

Processing a high volume, full cycle payroll for hourly and salary employees, multi-province
Year-end reconciliations: WCB, EI, CPP and T4's
Preparing and sending out T4's
Benefit reconciliations
Timesheet reconciliations
Entering and processing payroll adjustments and changes
Preparing payroll journal entries to the GL
Processing ROE’s and T4’s
High volume of tracking and entering in excel (pivot tables & v-look ups)

Your strengths include:

5+ years experience processing high volume payroll
Year-end payroll experience and reconciliations
A PCP or PLP designation is required
Comfortable working within tight deadlines and meeting those consistently.
Experience with large multi-province payrolls will be considered an asset
