Sales Representative - CanBec Distribution
Location: British Columbia (Remote, with regional travel)
CanBec Distribution is a leading importer and distributor of high-end WPC (wood composite) siding, decking, and fences under the renowned NewTechWood brand. We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Representative to join our team and lead our efforts in British Columbia. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to represent a top-tier brand and grow our presence in this key region.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and builders to promote NewTechWood products.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in British Columbia, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
Sales Growth:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including leads from networking, trade shows, and referrals.
- Drive sales by presenting and demonstrating the unique features and benefits of our products.
Market Development:
- Work closely with headquarters to align sales strategies and develop tailored marketing initiatives for the region.
- Provide insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to refine strategies.
Product Knowledge:
- Develop a thorough understanding of NewTechWood products, including features, technical specifications, and applications.
- Educate clients and stakeholders on product benefits and installation best practices.
Regional Travel:
- Regularly visit client sites, attend industry events, and conduct presentations across the province.
Reporting:
- Track sales activities, prepare regular progress reports, and provide feedback on regional sales performance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven sales experience, preferably in building materials, construction, or related industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while meeting sales targets.
- A passion for design and quality products, with the ability to convey this to clients.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout British Columbia.
- Experience working with architects or high-end construction projects is an asset.
