Location: Chattanooga, TN
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year + Commission and Performance Bonus

What You’ll Be Doing

Drive Sales & Build Relationships

  • Collaborate with our Business Development and Sales teams to achieve sales objectives and expand our Paint & Interior business.
  • Use tools like Salesforce, AMSTAT, and Corridor to identify and track new sales opportunities.
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their aircraft upgrade needs and help manage project schedules.

Leverage Your Technical Expertise

  • Provide expert technical analysis and support for routine and complex projects.
  • Work closely with the Design team to ensure that customer specifications are met on every project.
  • Advise customers on aircraft modification techniques, including advanced paint methods and interior reconfigurations.

Sales Strategy & Proposal Management

  • Prepare impactful sales presentations and proposals, working cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure each transaction’s success.
  • Collaborate with Contract Administrators to ensure technical accuracy in RFQs and proposals.
  • Conduct cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing and monitor historical performance for continuous improvement.

Networking & Industry Engagement

  • Attend industry trade shows, vendor events, and customer meetings to foster new relationships and maintain existing ones.
  • Build strong partnerships with key vendors to support future upgrades and identify additional sales opportunities.

Who You Are

  • A Technical Sales Pro: With at least 5 years of experience in the aviation MRO space, you have an in-depth understanding of aircraft paint and interior systems, and you excel at simplifying complex technical information for your customers.
  • A Relationship Builder: You know how to nurture and grow lasting relationships with customers, vendors, and partners, always looking for ways to engage and add value.
  • A Problem Solver: Your creative thinking helps you identify customer needs and deliver innovative solutions, ensuring they get the best value and experience.
  • A Team Player: You know that success comes from collaboration and work closely with internal teams across Business Development, Design, and Sales.
  • An Aviation Enthusiast: Your passion for aviation fuels your dedication to staying on top of industry trends and advancing your expertise.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience in Paint or Interior).
  • 5+ years of experience in the aviation MRO space with a technical focus on paint and interior modifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (travel required).
