JOB DESCRIPTION

Regions Hospital in St. Paul is seeking an experienced customer focused individual with working knowledge of spreadsheets, pivot tables and Excel skills to join our HR Service Center team as a HR Solutions Consultant. The HR Solutions Consultant will be responsible for the following job duties and responsibilities:

  • Effectively assists, resolves, and communicate with customers via phone, in-person and email in areas related to HR including but not limited to benefits, compensation, labor relations, leaves of absences, reward and recognition, recruitment, time and attendant and to document all inquiries according to department standards
  • Processes all employee changes such as PTO payouts, payroll corrections, pay changes, annual increases, promotions, special market increases and annual structure adjustments
  • Tracks and enters union due authorizations
  • Facilitates the communication process between HR, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll and HRIS team regarding payroll/personnel corrections, deadlines and computer reports
  • Generates, maintains and distributes a variety of scheduled reports
  • Provides training and education on badge readers, myTime, Employee Self Service (Me), Manager Self Service (My Team) and other HR systems.
  • Creates, updates and edits new hire records
  • Ensures I-9 and Visa Management is completed timely for current and terminating employees
  • Maintain the in-house HR website
  • Perform other duties as assigned

FTE: 1.0; 40 hours per week

Work Schedule: 730am-4pm; Monday-Friday

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent college courses and 2 years of work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in customer service
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Knowledge of spreadsheets, pivot tables and Excel skills

Salary Range: $26-$30/hour
