Job Description
The Purpose of the Solutions Consultant is to assist sales in generating revenue by selling software solutions and services to new logo prospects and existing clients within assigned territory. Support sales process through the delivery of initial product webinars and onsite presentations of all Baker Hill products.
Essential Functions/Job Duties
- Coordinate with the Sales Executives and Account Executives within a given territory on the preparation and delivery of sales presentation
- Collaborate with sales team to close new sales and expand existing contracts.
- Communicate, backup and support other staff in their assigned territories
- Maintain and document all activities as required
- Stay abreast of current/new company products and services.
- Update and maintain individual records in customer relationship management system
- Participate in and advise on development of key customer sales proposals
- Participate in user group meetings and trade shows as approved.
- Travel within assigned territory
- Other duties as assigned
Education: BA or BS in finance or lending operations or related preferred
Experience
- 2-5 years of Technology/Software Pre-Sale activity collaborating with sales team to close new sales and expand on existing clientele.
- Banking and Credit Union experience related to lending operations strongly desired
- In-depth knowledge of relevant financial services software solutions and applications.
- Proven ability to articulate value proposition
- Proven presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage internal resources to complete the sale. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications with strong emphasis on PowerPoint design skills experience with other graphic design programs an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to adapt style for every level of the organization & clients.
