Job Description

Summary Responsible for maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, achieving the customer’s needs and requirements, and proposing new ideas for national accounts. Act as a liaison between corporate and top-tier customers, manage customer relationships, lead and coordinate business growth activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Implements business plan driven from sales strategy for MI plants and St Mays Defense accounts.
  • Management of relationship for all current MI plants and St Mays Defense accounts
  • Support and manage LTA’s.
  • Manage Defense quotations through Loc system with monthly sales status reporting.
  • As required attend external customer events, meetings, tradeshows, conferences.
  • Support plant customer meetings.
  • Assist sales reporting and forecasting with Business Analyst
  • Develop and manage regularly scheduled Bi-annually MI plant accounts strategy meetings with key executives.
  • Works closely with BD team to drive new opportunities.
  • Manage online portals with DLA team to create new opportunities.
    • Manage quote and TDP for continuity.
  • Manage business analyst day to day.
    • Intel for monitoring key competitors
  • Manage and continue to develop the sales coordinators roles.
  • Utilize CRM for reporting.
  • Support proposals, ROM, RFI
  • Develop new and refine existing sales processes. i.e., order entry, contract review, kickoff mtg. etc.

Follow safety procedures, security protocol, and wear proper PPE.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree with Defense industry experience. Preferably in machining, fabrication, welding and assembly. Direct USG and/or Prime Contractor experience is required.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
