Job Title: Director of Sales & Operations - Revenue Cycle Management (Medical Billing)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales & Operations to lead our revenue cycle management division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, overseeing operational efficiency, and providing high-touch customer service in the medical billing sector. This role requires a blend of strategic sales acumen, operational expertise, client-centric focus, strong EMR (Electronic Medical Records) knowledge, and leadership skills.

Personic Health is one of the nation’s leading providers of in home advanced mobile wound care. Personic Health was formed in 2019 and has grown to 13 metropolitan cities across the United States. Our team of expert clinicians come to patient’s homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and long-term acute care facilities to treat patients with chronic wound care needs. Our organization is physician owned and includes a multispecialty group of physicians in its leadership team. The company has completed a number of acquisitions as well as joint ventures with local wound care physicians to help grow significantly. Personic is owned by physicians who are clinically active and have designed the company to be as conducive to optimal high quality clinical operations as possible. The company has been featured in NPR, Bloomberg News, and other media outlets.

Responsibilities:

Sales:

  • Research, identify, and target potential clients in the healthcare industry.
  • Lead the sales process from initial contact to closing, including nurturing relationships and providing tailored solutions.
  • Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for lead generation and market penetration.
  • Continuously assess market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth.

Operations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client issues, ensuring timely resolution and high client satisfaction.
  • Oversee all operational aspects of the revenue cycle management division.
  • Provide offshore oversight and collaboration to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Assess problem resolution and troubleshoot operational challenges as they arise.
  • Develop and implement processes to streamline operations and improve productivity.
  • Advise and assist clients with questions, concerns, and optimization of billing processes.

Client Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their trusted advisor.
  • Act as the head of operations, handling all client interactions and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and escalations promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to review performance, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Healthcare Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the healthcare industry, specifically in medical billing or revenue cycle management.
  • Interacting with physicians to understand their needs and facilitate effective revenue cycle management solutions.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes, EMR systems, and industry trends.
  • Experience managing offshore teams and collaborating across international boundaries.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales and operational plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Client-centric approach with a commitment to delivering high-touch, personalized service.
  • Ability to travel as needed. (The role requires regular travel within the United States, with approximately 50% of working time spent on domestic travel to various locations.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
